2013 LOTUS EVORA, APRILIA RSV4, HELICOPTERS MD500 HUDGES & OIL TRUCK (CHROME MIRROR-PLATED) WERE SPOTTED IN THE MOVIE 'THE HOST' (2013) - 19.MAY.2013

I was gonna do a review on this quite interesting movie called THE HOST (2013) which was released in LATE MARCH 2013 but was pile up with lots of work. Well, i love this movie very much and so i would still do the review specially on the vehicles & flying craft that was used in this movie. The movie has this 2010 LOTUS EVORA which looks similar to this year's mainline series LOTUS EVORA GT4 (METAFLAKE DARK GREEN). Let's have a look..

THE MOVIE POSTER FEATURING DIANE KRUGER & THE LOTUS

When i first saw the poster, i quick do some research on the vehicles used in this movie. I found out that the vehicles, bikes & chopper used in this movie were all used CHROME MIRROR-PLATED paint jobs! Incredible outcome indeed!! And so i have customized one of my own LOTUS EVORA but the version used in the movie were the 2010 LOTUS EVORA. Let's check it out..

Is not actually a CHROME MIRROR-PLATED paint but i am satisfied with the outcome.. hehe :)

FIRST KICK OFF IN MILAN, ITALY!

The LOTUS EVORA has been appeared in several countries during the premiere of the movie THE HOST such as ROME, LOS ANGELES, PARIS & GENEVA. Amazing sporty machines indeed. Let's take a look at some of the scenes in which this amazing car appears in the movie.

Of course, when every movies has some amazing machines, they also need to have some beautiful actresses as well .. such as Diane Kruger & Saiorse Ronan! Those are not the only things that attracts the attention but also the helicopters, bikes & truck were an interesting elements as well.

The LOTUS EVORA were also spotted in MALAYSIA for its premiere in April 2013.

Like i said, you just can't resist to turn away from this superb machines indeed!
Let's have a look at other machines which also wrapped in CHROME MIRROR-PLATED body color in the movie.

APRILIA RSV4 (MOTORCYCLE)

When i first saw the first scene on the motorcycle, i thought it was one of the Ducati series, maybe a Ducati Diavel, one of this year's most anticipated model. But its not! After a thoroughly look hours research, one name finally came up, the APRILIA RSV4. One name that i don't really familiar with. It looks something like this..

Hopefully we will see this casting in the next year 2014 mainline list eh.. :D

Now, for the helicopter, its easier to search and the model they used in the movie is this mode..

HELICOPTERS MD500 HUDGES

When i saw the helicopter.. immediately i would think of one of the CHROME PLATED HOT WHEELS version of its own chopper named KILLER COPTER! Check it out..

 Lastly, the truck that is also been wrapped with CHROME MIRROR-PLATED body color which i am not sure what model it is, only the view of the rear truck. Check it out..

And HOT WHEELS also has its oil truck carrier as well such as this model..

HOT WHEELS 2009 NEW MODELS #14 FAST GASSIN' (WHITE)

Well, that's pretty much about it. 

I just loved CHROME color so much and i have been doing some studies on how to really paint diecast models into real CHROME MIRROR-PLATED color. In Malaysia, it is hard to find that kind of paint for self-customized purposes. Need to dig deeper i guess.. hehe :D

Anyway, i hope that maybe someday, MATTEL will considering producing these amazing models especially found in exciting movies such as THE HOST. The Fast & Furious franchise is a success for HOT WHEELS brand and rumor has been said that there might be a second series of The Fast & Furious franchise! Keep coming on these beautiful models, MATTEL! Just keep it coming.. :)

2013 HOT WHEELS SCAVENGERS HUNT - 2ND WAVE - PONY-UP (GREEN) & VULTURE (YELLOW) SPOTTED! - 24.MAY.2013

Here, we have new SCAVENGER HUNT spotted in 2ND WAVE:

2. VULTURE (YELLOW) 05/06

In late April 2013, we have seen the 1ST WAVE of SCAVENGER HUNT car model - TIRE FRYER (BLACK) & SCORCHER (COPPER) in my previous post. It might not be the finest casting in 2013 but i still like the unique casting of these 2 models especially VULTURE. The unique designed of the long exhaust-pipe near the driver seat. You can get this models in eBay now as they are just been released recently.

So now, we still left another 2 car models which we might have a first look of their pictures here somewhere in June 2013. A full set of 6 cars are need to complete the collection of this SCAVENGER HUNT series! Hopefully MATTEL can produced a much more exciting car models for this series soon. Just to boost the interest of A MUST GET car models eh.. :D

A very interesting HW case indeed!
These L Cases already released in U.S. market. Hopefully we will be seeing this more in MALAYSIA's markets soon. The closer we get to the end of line in HW MAINLINE SERIES, the more exciting casting we will get. Alot of new casting has been revealed in this wave & hopefully, by the end of August 2013, we will be seeing a complete set of the entire 2013 mainline series.

2013 HOT WHEELS FINAL SUPER TREASURE HUNT$ - SHOWROOM #217 '71 DODGE DEMON (SPECTRAFLAME BLUE) SPOTTED! - 22.MAY.2013

Finally, we have come to an end of this line in SUPER SECRET/HIDDEN TREASURE HUNT$ for this year's mainline series. Not what we have expected but its a fine collection for all. Let's have a look..

2013 HOT WHEELS SHOWROOM - HEAT FLEET #217 '71 DODGE DEMON

What i love about this casting is the body color that really match its style indeed. Ever since this was spotted on the net yesterday, i have manage to custom paint on one of my extra casting of '71 Dodge Demon into CANDY DARK BLUE WITH CUSTOM SILVER BASE. I also manage to fit the vehicle with the same RUBBER TIRES used in the treasure hunt series. Let's take a closer look.

The super treasure hunt used CLEAR PLASTIC WINDOWS & BLACK INTERIOR. The base is in CHROME PLASTIC material. The roof top & rear trunk does not have any tampos. The most interesting part with this vehicle is the flames body tampos that covers almost all the surface on both side plus the double black stripes on front bonnet. A little bit of flames tampos (same pattern like the side flame tampos) were spotted on both corners of the front bonnet as well.

This super treasure hunt will be available soon in 2013 mainline series CASE CODE Q in LATE MAY to EARLY JUNE 2013. Just half year period gone and we have already seen the complete version of the entire 2013 mainline series - SUPER SECRET/HIDDEN TREASURE HUNT!! Soon, we will be able to see the first TREASURE HUNT in 2014 mainline series! So stay tune for more updates, ok.
